Consolidated Patron Notes, Alerts, Blocks, and Messages

There is a new, consolidated interface to manage patron notes, alerts, blocks and messages.

In the new interface, all of these are managed under Notes. Each note can have different attributes.

  • Public — If a note is public, it will appear in the patron’s messages in My Account
  • Alert — If a note is an alert, it will pop up when you access the patron’s record
  • Block — If a note is a block, it blocks circulation transactions
